Orian Tzadik

 

Orian Tzadik is a Natural Resources Specialist in the protected resources division, for the National Marine Fisheries Service of the United States. The protected resources division works with endangered species listings and in this capacity Orian acts as the recovery coordinator for the listed species of Queen Conch (Aliger gigas), Nassau Grouper (Epinephelus striatus), and Scalloped Hammerhead Sharks (Sphyrna lewini). Orian is currently working on the development and implementation of recovery plans to promote the recovery of the listed species while pursuing a variety of scientific studies to inform recovery strategies and overall understanding of these species.

Conduct Queen conch surveys with Orian to obtain genetic biopsy components to see how Saba's conch differ from other populations!
