Koen Verhoogt

Koen Verhoogt has been working on biodiversity for more than a decade. Started with studying plants and lichens, but quickly became interested in the smaller critters like beetles and spiders. After the study of Forest- and nature conservation at Wageningen University, Koen started working at a research station studying the effects of pesticides on insect populations. Currently he is working at the Dutch Butterfly Conservation, working on projects to get agricultural systems more nature and biodiversity inclusive. His current focus on biodiversity is now mainly aimed at Araneae (spiders) and Coleoptera (beetles).

We will be updating our calendar with activity dates and times as we continue to coordinate our event. Stay tuned!
