Kate Niemuller

I’m Kate, a stay at home mom by day and a jeweller by night. I have always been creative, and as a result I have worn many hats in my career: writer, director, teacher, wilderness guide, drive thru guru to name a few. I first started making jewelry when I was twelve. Back then I primarily worked with beads and wire. In 2022 I discovered clay jewelry and found my way back to the craft. Shortly after, I started my company Ro + Louise as a way to help contribute financially to my family. What I didn’t know is I would reclaim a part of myself in the process.

Ro + Louise is named after my kids middle names. As much as I am doing this for me, I am also doing it for them. I want to show them that you can do anything you set your mind to as long as you are willing to work for it. They will always be my why.

My goal with my work is to create meaningful jewelry for women. When you wear one of our pieces it’s not just a pretty pair of earrings. It’s a reminder of your inner strength, beauty and resilience. We are all worthy, but sometimes we need to remind ourselves of it. My hope is that when anyone wears one of my pieces, they will feel that meaning and carry it with you throughout your day.
