Gary Palmatier

​

Gary was raised in the Washington DC suburbs, in Maryland. In 1976, he graduated from the University of Maryland with Bachelor of Fine and Commercial Art degrees. Several years later, he moved to St. Thomas, USVI where he was a Creative Director at Q & Company advertising agency. Later on he became an art director at the Virgin Islands Daily News. Eventually, he moved back to Washington DC where he had a graphic design firm until he was offered a position as an Art Director in the marketing department at The Washington Post. He retired five years ago and is now spending winters on Saba. He's been a regular visitor to the island since 1989.

Gary's workshops will take place at Colibri Cafe.

Workshop 2: Saturday, March 1st 9 am-noon
